Q1: What are the legal requirements for purchasing sodium cyanide?
A1: Sodium cyanide is a highly regulated, restricted chemical. Moon Bright Resources requires all new customers to provide: (1) Valid business license, (2) End-use certificate detailing application, (3) Proof of appropriate handling and safety facilities, (4) For mining customers, certification of adherence to the International Cyanide Management Code (ICMC) or equivalent. We do not sell to unverified buyers, resellers without proper storage, or individual/private parties. International buyers are responsible for obtaining all necessary import permits.

Q2: How is sodium cyanide safely handled and stored?
A2: Due to high toxicity, strict protocols are required: (1) Store in original sealed UN-approved containers in a locked, dry, well-ventilated area segregated from acids (cyanide reacts with acids to produce deadly hydrogen cyanide gas), (2) Use dedicated storage with secondary containment, (3) Handle only with extensive PPE (chemical-resistant suit, butyl rubber gloves, full-face respirator with acid gas cartridges), (4) Never work alone — maintain buddy system, (5) Maintain cyanide spill kits and decontamination equipment at all handling points, (6) Regular air monitoring for HCN gas is mandatory. We provide comprehensive Safety Data Sheets (SDS), emergency response guides, and technical support.

Q3: Do you offer OEM / private label packaging?
A3: For large, certified industrial customers (typically mining operations), we can offer private labeling on outer packaging. All packaging must remain UN-certified and compliant with ICMC standards. Minimum order for custom packaging is 20 metric tons.

Q4: What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
A4: MOQ is 50 kg (one drum) for certified customers, 5 metric tons for small commercial orders, and 20 metric tons for wholesale pricing. Bulk orders of 20 metric tons or more (full container) qualify for discounted rates. Pricing and availability are provided only to qualified buyers.

Q5: What is the International Cyanide Management Code (ICMC)?
A5: The ICMC is a voluntary certification program for the gold mining industry that establishes best practices for the safe management of cyanide at mining operations. It covers production, transport, storage, use, and disposal. As a signatory supporter, Moon Bright Resources encourages and supplies primarily to ICMC-certified operations.
